New leadership, new milestone: URG with uMe

United Robotics Group with new leadership: Kerstin Wagner becomes Co-CEO and humanoid robot uMe to be unveiled in early 2026

  • United Robotics Health & Food GmbH acquires patent, trademark, and content rights of the former holding company and will operate under this name going forward
  • Kerstin Wagner appointed new Co-CEO & COO alongside founder and CEO Wassim Saeidi

  • Focus on global scaling in lab robotics (uLab Mobile) and consistent portfolio expansion

  • Presentation of humanoid robot uMe planned for CES in Las Vegas (January 2026)

Stuhr, September 4, 2025 – The United Robotics Group (URG) has restructured: United Robotics Health & Food GmbH has acquired the patent, trademark, and content rights relating to all product lines (uLab, uLog, uServe, uClean) and now operates under the name United Robotics Group (Holding). The operational business will continue seamlessly under the new United Robotics Group (Holding). At the same time, Kerstin Wagner strengthens the company’s management as new Co-CEO & COO alongside founder and CEO Wassim Saeidi. The internationally successful healthtech and diagnostics expert (formerly Siemens Healthineers) joined United Robotics Group in January 2025 as VP Global Partnerships and Strategy. With her, United Robotics Group is now placing clear focus on the healthcare sector – with the goal of scaling existing products globally, accelerating the market introduction of innovations, and effectively addressing the shortage of skilled workers in healthcare and service industries.

Clear growth agenda
The consistent strategic orientation toward growth and expansion of the product portfolio is explained by Kerstin Wagner, Co-CEO & COO of United Robotics Group (Holding), as follows:
“Our mission is clear: we develop robotic solutions that are already proven in routine operations today – and scale them worldwide. Our focus lies on expanding our presence in health and life science markets. With uLab Mobile, which integrates seamlessly into existing lab environments, we have already set the standard. Market demand is immense.”

Next milestone: humanoid robot uMe
In parallel with scaling its existing business fields, URG is driving the development of new technologies.
“With uMe, we will present our humanoid robot at CES in Las Vegas in early 2026 – a milestone for us and the entire robotics industry,” explains Wassim Saeidi, founder and CEO of United Robotics Group (Holding).
“Our solutions are Made in Germany and therefore stand for the highest quality and reliability. While many in the industry talk about visions, we are showing that robotics is already delivering real impact today: it efficiently and sustainably counteracts the shortage of skilled workers in healthcare. Ethics remain our guiding principle: we stand for technology that protects, relieves, and improves lives.”

Practical robotics solutions for healthcare and service
United Robotics Group combines long-standing robotics expertise with a clear focus on real-world applications. In the laboratory sector, the mobile robot uLab Mobile is already in use in more than 30 labs. Through close cooperation with leading lab equipment manufacturers, the robots are pre-trained before delivery – allowing immediate integration into existing processes without programming effort at the customer’s site. In everyday care and clinical settings, URG also develops solutions that relieve staff, increase efficiency, and enhance patient safety. With uMe, the portfolio will be expanded to include humanoid robotics that can be seamlessly integrated into workflows.
